20 things strikes again!
1. She has regular nightmares about the forbidden mushi raging out of control and taking over her entire body. Also ones where she can't stop it from escaping and causing havoc.
2. Her second greatest motivation (after gaining use of her right leg) in sealing the forbidden mushi away is to make Tama proud and the sacrifices others have made for her worthwhile.
3. She keeps up a regular correspondence with Ginko.
4. She has memorized every map of Japan the records hold.
5. Sometimes she practices making her right leg go through the motions of walking, moving it with her hands.
6. She has a great interest in nature, and keeps track of a lot of the animals she sees in the fields around the house. She is especially good at identifying birds. She likes birds a lot.
7. Her vocabulary is enormous.
8. She practices calligraphy and brush painting, partially for the comfort of creating something that is completely separate from herself.
9. She very much misses living in the main house of the Karibusa family. When she was little and lived there, she had cousins and other relatives to play with and talk to. They don't visit here often.
10. She would love to have a normal pet (not just useful mushi), but accepts that it's much to dangerous, especially for the animal.
11. She smokes because it helps her relax while giving her something small to concentrate on.
12. The things she wants most are novels. She loves the idea of escaping into words that have no relation to reality.
13. You'd think that she'd hate words by now, but she doesn't. She loves them (Rather like mushi, for that matter).
14. She knows that continents beyond Asia exist, and what their names and the names of some of the countries on them are, but that's pretty much it. She's pretty solid on Asian geography, though.
15. She does know about sex in theory.
16. She is completely naive as to how cities and such work, but she's not as gullible as you might expect. She's dealt with a fair amount of mushishi that are total bastards, so she knows how to recognize one.
17. She's not used to pretty much any physical contact except when people are helping her get around, and even that only from the people she trusts most (i.e. Tama and Ginko). She's used to a very large bubble of personal space.
18. Her favorite season is fall. The weather is agreeable, the colors are nice, and she loves watching the migrating birds.
19. If the mark doesn't start showing dramatic reductions in the next few years, she'll have to marry so as to ensure the line continues.
20. She's in love with Ginko. But you knew that one.
